Halcyon Water-Based Marine Varnish - Satin - Pint

When developing Halcyon Marine Varnish, an exterior marine varnish, TotalBoat threw away the rule book. They wanted a UV protective finish durable enough for outdoor use on boats, but also hard enough to use on interior surfaces. They also wanted a boat finish that didnt require days of work to build adequate layers, so they shortened the recoat time and eliminated the need to sand between coats, making it possible to do up to five coats (one per hour) within the first 12 hours. They accomplished all this in a water-based formula that cleans up with just soap and water. This low-odor, low-VOC (75 g/l) formulation comes in a resealable bag that is easy to dispense from and preserves leftover finish for another project.

Halcyons advanced water-based formula is simple to use and very forgiving, producing beautiful, consistent, level results with just a foam brush. It flows on easily and is much easier to work with than oil-based varnishes, synthetic marine wood finishes, and even other waterborne marine polyurethane finishes. Best of all, Halcyon is compatible with other one- and two-part varnishes, so it can be applied over properly prepared existing varnish thats in good condition no need to strip off the old varnish first, which will save a lot of time and elbow grease.
